After a rather tough play, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Luiz Gustavo do Valle got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Muzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Floripa Lions FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Pedro Luís Alvarenga went to the cornerflag to take it. Luiz Gustavo do Valle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luiz Gustavo do Valle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Gustavo do Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amerigo Muzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Montenegro in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Amerigo Muzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Santino Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amerigo Muzi. That made the score 1-2 after 87 minutes of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pascual Carballar hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hortêncio Montenegro went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Amerigo Muzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Secada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amerigo Muzi. That made the score 2-3 in the 96 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
