Zhu Xiao Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhu Xiao Yang in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Brasiliense FC were awarded a corner. Raimundo Batista went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 14th minute, Zhu Xiao Yang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 1-0. After 19 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Zhu Xiao Yang. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lionel 柯景义. Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 37th minute, Cyryl Smolarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho de Barros in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel 柯景义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhu Xiao Yang in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Xiao Yang in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhu Xiao Yang made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Afiz Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afiz Phua scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Lionel 柯景义 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Zhu Xiao Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afiz Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 72nd minute, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 75 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Afiz Phua came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhu Xiao Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's Zhu Xiao Yang. But to his dismay, Zhu Xiao Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhu Xiao Yang in the 87th minute of play. When Brasiliense FC's Zhu Xiao Yang in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Lionel 柯景义 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Carballar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiz Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Lionel 柯景义 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
