The supporters of Venezuela booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play forced Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper 邓真义 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talib Temelj, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邓真义 having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 武 杨广. 邓真义 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 33rd minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 邓真义 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 邓真义 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Talib Temelj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Talib Temelj's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio-Paul Caniggia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andres Calamaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Psycho-Circus's Claudio-Paul Caniggia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 武 杨广 struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psycho-Circus. In the 65th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邓真义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Psycho-Circus's Ähsän Xudadverdiyev got a free kick in the 67th minute. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 邓真义. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 邓真义 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute. 邓真义 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Calamaro in the 82nd minute of play. Psycho-Circus's Alexis MacAlister was substituted for Adolfo Salvino. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio-Paul Caniggia's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 武 杨广 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Claudio-Paul Caniggia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Claudio-Paul Caniggia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Psycho-Circus had played much better football throughout.
