The referee ignored Lanegan FC's protests and gave Jonathan Curcio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lanegan FC's Narciso Millrick got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Lanegan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Millrick didn't get a good kick on the ball.

57 minutes into the game, Luca Espinar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanegan FC the free kick.
