Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) CJ Klose started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 3rd minute of play forced Yrigoyen.F.C's goalkeeper Petr Školník to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Peru's Julian Murillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Petr Školník despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 19 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, CJ Klose took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Milagros Fraga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Julian Murillo scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petr Školník, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner led to Yrigoyen.F.C's Atilano Sotil getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Aurelio Feliz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Petr Školník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Petr Školník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Petr Školník reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Petr Školník in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Yrigoyen.F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Mina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If CJ Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yrigoyen.F.C made a substitution. Jorge Romelio replaced Sonny Lundström. Yrigoyen.F.C made a substitution. Jesus Niva replaced Atilano Sotil. Petr Školník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Petr Školník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rafael Gallo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
