An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced Bakarvågen's goalkeeper Jøran Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Brage Endresen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakarvågen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brage Endresen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Kenneth Skotnes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Brage Endresen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brage Endresen was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Løvland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jøran Ek made a huge save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Kristian Utvik's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brage Endresen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Brage Endresen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bakarvågen's supporters rose to their feet, but Brage Endresen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brage Endresen in the 79th minute of play. Jøran Ek was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. Bakarvågen's Jøran Ek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Bakarvågen from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Bakarvågen's Jøran Ek got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jøran Ek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. Brage Endresen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brage Endresen in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
