Petr Školník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Klose in the 20th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and CJ Klose made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Petr Školník reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petr Školník. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yrigoyen.F.C's Jesus Niva was substituted for Atilano Sotil. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Aurelio Feliz got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score.
