Zebastian Bergfeldt started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ralph Roeles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan de Vlieger. In the 19th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ralph Roeles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jan de Vlieger did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 23 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Roeles having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Ralph Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Jan de Vlieger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan de Vlieger.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Caiola in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Caiola to maneuver through the defense. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Ralph Roeles, making the score, 1-2. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Kurt van der Laan was substituted for Jan de Vlieger. In the 76th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Caiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt van der Laan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Ralph Roeles however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador played a much better game than Julias Rascals Apeldoorn and deserved their victory. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
