In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Ferrer came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. When Delmiro Ferrer came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Barbudos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Ferrer couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 55th minute of play. Barbudos FC's Virgil Van Dijk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Chicote, made in the 56th minute of the game. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Ferrer in the 57th minute of play. Venezuela's Patricio Costa suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 60 minutes into the game, Teofilo Ermano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbudos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Teofilo Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Barbudos FC made a substitution. Giannis Antetokounmpo replaced Gareth Bala. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Franco Beccari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbudos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Beccari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Beccari in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Franco Beccari dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-5. Franco Beccari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Franco Beccari slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franco Beccari in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Franco Beccari struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbudos FC. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 79th minute. Franco Beccari took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Beccari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Omar Abadia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 minutes of play, Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barbudos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
