Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Tomislav Strahija made a huge save. Tomislav Strahija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. Archie Greenwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Archie Greenwood ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Archie Greenwood came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Archie Greenwood made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Greenwood in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Kentucky Fried Wings's Archie Greenwood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Greenwood in the 20th minute of play. Tomislav Strahija made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archie Greenwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro's late challenge caught a Kentucky Fried Wings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes, Kentucky Fried Wings's Grant Tindale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kentucky Fried Wings reached it. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tomislav Strahija didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Greenwood in the 36th minute of play. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kentucky Fried Wings's Gonçalo Gomes. After the first half Kentucky Fried Wings were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Agustín Saelices as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kentucky Fried Wings's Tomislav Strahija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute of play. Tomislav Strahija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomislav Strahija read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. If Archie Greenwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kentucky Fried Wings's Mao Hong Kuan was substituted for Grant Tindale. Kentucky Fried Wings's Son van Basten was substituted for Archie Greenwood. In the 77th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Kentucky Fried Wings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kentucky Fried Wings's Tomislav Strahija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. Kentucky Fried Wings were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garth Beck took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kentucky Fried Wings's corner Garth Beck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Benard Ngamta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kentucky Fried Wings's supporters rose to their feet, but Benard Ngamta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Kentucky Fried Wings's Tomislav Strahija managed to reach the ball for a save. After 93 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomislav Strahija was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chants of Kentucky Fried Wings echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ecuador had held the ball for most of the match.
