He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rubite FC reached it. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Rubite FC's Cesaro Solano. But to his dismay, Cesaro Solano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesaro Solano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Zorita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peru Aranzubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 18th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesaro Solano was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Rubite FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Uria's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ricardo Zorita on his right side and into the goal. 53 minutes into the game it was 4-0. Peru Aranzubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Luque in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentino Ferrant during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eufrasio Patiño in the 65th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Peru Aranzubia made a huge save. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Peru Aranzubia was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Abram Luque capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abram Luque really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2.
