In the 3rd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Fifth Chicken's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edílson Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edílson Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edílson Souza in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Edílson Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Edílson Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Herbert Bobrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fifth Chicken's Krzysztof Dziewedik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Carita in the 23 minute of the game. Dobri Koks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Jose Carita made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fifth Chicken's Krzysztof Wodaszak. 36 minutes into the game, Edílson Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fifth Chicken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. A collision led to Fifth Chicken getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edílson Souza hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Dobri Koks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 58th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edílson Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fifth Chicken made a substitution. Waldemar Tipinski replaced Edílson Souza. Fifth Chicken's Mieszko Borkowski was substituted for Kazimierz Sliwinski. 74 minutes in the game Jose Carita did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Miguel Miralles. 76 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Tipinski came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Waldemar Tipinski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 0-1. The supporters of Fifth Chicken booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Tipinski came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Panama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fifth Chicken were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
