When Alfredo Ferrant came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Ferrant couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Aureo came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Calistrat Zubaşcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. 27 minutes into the match, Eduard Moisil notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Pisicile Albe getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Iosif Nițoi hit a great ball. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Pisicile Albe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Nițoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Pisicile Albe's Eduard Moisil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Mugur Agulescu made the kick off in the second half. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosmin Cernea in the 53rd minute. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugur Agulescu's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Zubaşcu having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Pisicile Albe's Camilo Freixa threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugur Agulescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eduard Moisil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. After having played for 68 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Pisicile Albe's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Fernandino came free, but Calistrat Zubaşcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmin Cernea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Eduard Moisil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Cosmin Cernea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Cosmin Cernea made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Levițchi in the 95th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
