The Samsunspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Cavit Arslanoğlu came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karlus Waugh to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Dorukhan Erokay made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorukhan Erokay in the 21st minute of the match. Özgür Onuker scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Jamaica's Romon Oliver dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfi Kocakalp in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romon Oliver during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Onuker in the 42nd minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Onuker, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Samsunspor were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özgür Onuker to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Turan Habiboğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samsunspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Turan Habiboğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demonde Jacobson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Romon Oliver hit a great ball. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cavit Arslanoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 63 minute of play. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cavit Arslanoğlu in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Özgür Onuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yalçın Tezveren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Samsunspor's Sabri Çağman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-7 after 84 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorukhan Erokay. After 89 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Battal Gazi Ağçelik. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Samsunspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
