Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Valdemar Tomasson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Arvidsson during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peter Arvidsson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Valdemar Tomasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Folke Bure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Bure was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Tomasson. After having played for 32 minutes, Valdemar Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Pole Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar Tomasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Folke Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Ahlbeck in the 36th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Valdemar Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Folke Bure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 43rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 0-4 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Bure, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Valdemar Tomasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Pole Kickers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Anders Byström managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Pole Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Byström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdemar Tomasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Folke Bure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Folke Bure in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Folke Bure quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Bure having to interfere. In the 75th minute Michael Ahlbeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Folke Bure, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villiam Tholsson took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Folke Bure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes North Pole Kickers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Tomasson in the 89th minute of play. Cristian Sancho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Folke Bure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
