Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rubite FC's Cesaro Solano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Rubite FC's Xamo Rey got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Peru Aranzubia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Peru Aranzubia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peru Aranzubia. Aaron Alcocer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesaro Solano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Rubite FC's Hermelando Medina got a free kick in the 17th minute. Peru Aranzubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Uria succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Costa Rica's Benito Sanz hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! When Cesaro Solano came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Rubite FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesaro Solano couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Peru Aranzubia in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Rubite FC's Anton Rojas got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute, Bastia Unzueta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Peru Aranzubia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Cesaro Solano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Eufrasio Patiño sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Marcos Fuente put in a rough tackle. Hermelando Medina hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rubite FC the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Eufrasio Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubite FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eufrasio Patiño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Bastia Unzueta came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Rubite FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastia Unzueta couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Eufrasio Patiño took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Paulo Uria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Paulo Uria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
