Manoel Viannas short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurand Sidorowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After 34 minutes C.A.D.A.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Luis Andino drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind C.A.D.A.C.'s goalkeeper. In the 39th minute C.A.D.A.C. were awarded a corner. Matias Valiente went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.D.A.C.'s goalkeeper Jurand Sidorowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jurand Sidorowicz made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Jurand Sidorowicz in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jurand Sidorowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurand Sidorowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Ingemar Odeen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.D.A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 96 played minutes C.A.D.A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Odeen.
