In the 18th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Orak in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behram Okyanus in the 40th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, umutspor's Yakup Kadri Şıran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Baltasar Calado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Cihan Veysel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Orak in the 63rd minute of play. Aras Orak struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for umutspor. After a rather tough play, umutspor's Akay Yürükoğlu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Calado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes umutspor got a freekick which was hit by Akay Yürükoğlu. Aras Orak kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, umutspor's Aras Orak made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihan Veysel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. umutspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
