Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rickard Lundgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Brendan Leblanc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Västerstrand in the 47th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Luz Tejedor made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Guo Ke Peng hit a great ball.
