Steve De Wyngaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 4th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wyngaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Steve De Wyngaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matúš Zvijač received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Matúš Zvijač slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Steve De Wyngaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Grigore Irod's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 39 minutes, Alberto Tafalla made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. G-TN rest-ART's Steve De Wyngaert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grigore Irod to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Steve De Wyngaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Kenny Norberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenny Norberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ziemowit Majorski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Steve De Wyngaert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 68 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Steve De Wyngaert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Steve De Wyngaert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. G-TN rest-ART's Teofil Budrewicz was substituted for Pál Szabó. 85 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Steve De Wyngaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 96th minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Steve De Wyngaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, G-TN rest-ART could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
