Andrej Buday received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Irod in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Steve De Wyngaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pál Szabó took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Norberg in the 45th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Steve De Wyngaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute of the match. Chile's Orlando Casaus got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A hard shot by Christer Blom from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Thiago Pliego's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to G-TN rest-ART getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kenny Norberg hit a great ball. G-TN rest-ART made a substitution. Teofil Budrewicz replaced Pál Szabó. G-TN rest-ART's Róbert Čapo was substituted for Andrej Buday. After a rather tough play, G-TN rest-ART's Kenny Norberg got a free kick in the 76th minute. G-TN rest-ART's Steve De Wyngaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Matúš Zvijač hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steve De Wyngaert showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Pedro Indiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Orlando Casaus scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steve De Wyngaert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the G-TN rest-ART players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
