Mátyás Titkos came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Daniel Zorita scored 0-6 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mátyás Titkos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Titkos having to interfere. Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s Mátyás Titkos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Titkos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mátyás Titkos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mátyás Titkos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Mátyás Titkos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Mátyás Titkos. Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. With his leg Mátyás Titkos managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mátyás Titkos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s Mátyás Titkos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Telekgerend .Star.szy. from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Luis Andino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 74 minutes into the match, Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Mátyás Titkos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
