Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jose Eduino took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Eduino in the 3rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Eduino. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnni Kirkskov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Jose Eduino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Genaro Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnni Kirkskov having to interfere. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov managed to reach the ball for a save. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jose Eduino in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in BK Skjold's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnni Kirkskov came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lionel Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Genaro Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Lionel Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Skjold fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Johnni Kirkskov made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Johnni Kirkskov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. If Mo Qi Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Jose Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in BK Skjold's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnni Kirkskov came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnni Kirkskov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Johnni Kirkskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes BK Skjold's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but BK Skjold were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
