In the 11th minute, Wit Motowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kazimierz Dulemba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Kanalie's goalkeeper Kazimierz Dulemba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kanalie's Kazimierz Dulemba. Kazimierz Dulemba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kanalie's Kazimierz Dulemba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Mis came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazimierz Dulemba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kazimierz Dulemba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Kanalie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Bogumil Sadlowski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Olaf Mis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Olaf Mis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Mis made a kick off. With his leg Kazimierz Dulemba managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Dulemba having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kazimierz Dulemba. Kazimierz Dulemba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Kanalie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Kazimierz Dulemba, making the score, 0-7. With a little luck, Kanalie's Kazimierz Dulemba got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kajetan Mitus kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Kanalie's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kazimierz Dulemba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Kazimierz Dulemba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Dulemba having to interfere. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kazimierz Dulemba. Kanalie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Kazimierz Dulemba made a huge save.
