In the 41st minute, Ovidio Argina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Cassius Byrne from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Derman Soysaldı's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, USA's Cassius Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Derman Soysaldı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Derman Soysaldı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zach Harrison in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Soysaldı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Sacit Övünç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Sacit Övünç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Sacit Övünç took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marco Day to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Soysaldı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 68 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Mata came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derman Soysaldı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 69th minute of play. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anton Scheupach in the 76th minute. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Sacit Övünç was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Sacit Övünç in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marco Day guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 96th minute of play forced ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goalkeeper Derman Soysaldı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
