Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sly Collier having to interfere. In the 9th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Collier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 minutes Stickleback Utd Xl's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 21 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sly Collier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier. Sly Collier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Silvester Odell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stickleback Utd Xl's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvester Odell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sly Collier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Stickleback Utd Xl's Gary Pettifer got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 43 played minutes Stickleback Utd Xl got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Clapham. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stephen Clapham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Clapham in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Stickleback Utd Xl got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Piazza. After 56 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sly Collier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Montenegro in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stickleback Utd Xl's Chip Culverhouse. The throw-in from Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Stickleback Utd Xl's Charles Armitstead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes Stickleback Utd Xl's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sly Collier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sly Collier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sly Collier in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sly Collier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Sly Collier threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Stickleback Utd Xl getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Chip Culverhouse hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olly Paley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Andino in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stickleback Utd Xl's Benji Browne. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olly Paley in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Sly Collier in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes Stickleback Utd Xl's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Stickleback Utd Xl's goalie and right to Cristian Sancho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Stickleback Utd Xl's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
