Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Per-Åke Aronsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dåsens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Åke Aronsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Iustinian Costeiantu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Iustinian Costeiantu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Dolfo having to interfere. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Dåsens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Costeiantu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Per-Åke Aronsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Nordlund in the 27th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. A hard shot by Jan Hermansson from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Iustinian Costeiantu struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dåsens IF. The supporters of Dåsens IF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Aronsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Åke Aronsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Abrahamsson in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Gunnar Abrahamsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dåsens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
