The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Piglowski was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Piglowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boguslaw Piglowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in TeReFerere's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franciszek Marud came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Luis Rubio hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita went to the wrong direction when Boguslaw Piglowski was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
