He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Dolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnar Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Jesus Dolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Iustinian Costeiantu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Sandwall hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmund Hägglund, made in the 37th minute of the game. The supporters of Dåsens IF booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Hermansson made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. 45 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jesus Dolfo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 51st minute of play forced Dåsens IF's goalkeeper Jesus Dolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute. Edmundo Espiga was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Dolfo saved Dåsens IF from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Dolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Costeiantu got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luca Espinar came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Espinar couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Per-Åke Aronsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrik Nordlund kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan Hermansson in the 79 minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per-Åke Aronsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 81 minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dåsens IF's goalkeeper Jesus Dolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Dåsens IF booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Åke Aronsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dåsens IF's Jesus Dolfo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Dåsens IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Dolfo. Honduras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
