Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomás Quadros kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Tidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MLM's Bob Cazeneuve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 11th minute of play. Blas Romelio made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomás Quadros immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Adolfo Camara hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Quadros in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Quadros's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 29 minutes in the game, Henrik Tidén fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when MLM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Alabern didn't get a good kick on the ball. MLM made a substitution. Flavio Colillas replaced Charro Alavedra. Armando Alabern kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Tidén in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play forced MLM's goalkeeper Bob Cazeneuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. 45 minutes into the match, Tomás Quadros notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Bob Cazeneuve skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bob Cazeneuve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute, Tomás Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes of play, MLM's Almir Carioca made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Quadros in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Almir Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Blas Romelio hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Cazeneuve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bob Cazeneuve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 84th minute, Tomás Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MLM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, MLM's Tomás Quadros got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Tomás Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MLM were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henrik Tidén took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MLM had won after a very even match.
