An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Machek in the 22nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Erenay Gazel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s Dalibor Král got a free kick in the 46th minute. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. The supporters of Panama booed when ⚽Aston Punat⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position.
