Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Atila having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's Mala Chloupek made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Atila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eduardo Atila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Mala Chloupek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's Eduardo Atila got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
