Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guido Burgstaller started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Emerson Ferraz made a huge save. In the 6th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Emerson Ferraz however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Freiherr in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karel Dautzenberg who took care of the corner kick. Timo Schinnenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Möhnsen FC's Emerson Ferraz got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Schinnenburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emerson Ferraz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Bernwurz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Emerson Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Emerson Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Möhnsen FC's Timo Schinnenburg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Möhnsen FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Guido Burgstaller sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. After the first half Möhnsen FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Emerson Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Ferraz. Emerson Ferraz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Burgstaller went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Möhnsen FC's Emerson Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Jens Albers. After a defensive mix-up in Möhnsen FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Ferraz came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Emerson Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 83 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Emerson Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Ferraz having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Möhnsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Bernwurz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Ferraz having to interfere. Timo Schinnenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Möhnsen FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mathias Bernwurz hit a great ball. The Ecuador supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Möhnsen FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Möhnsen FC.
