The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marlon Koppermann during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Pharos Alexandria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marlon Koppermann. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebald Biermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebald Biermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebald Biermann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. With a little luck, Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s Sebald Biermann got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Pharos Alexandria F.C. got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Achim Lutz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marlon Koppermann was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Raphael Klomfaß made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Philipp Mielich immediately put the ball in play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
