In the 3rd minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylan Sarmiento made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miguel Miralles immediately put the ball in play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Delmiro Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Panayot Lilovski. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Abadia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 24th minute of play. Omar Abadia made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Omar Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 35th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbudos FC's Omar Abadia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Barbudos FC from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Ferrer made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 60th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 minutes, Delmiro Ferrer made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Barbudos FC's Giannis Antetokounmpo was substituted for Gareth Bala. In the 74th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Beccari in the 76th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Carita in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barbudos FC's Severino Rojas. Jose Carita made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Berganza. After a rather tough play, Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari got a free kick in the 81st minute. Omar Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Franco Beccari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Franco Beccari might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Beccari ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Beccari in the 94th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Barbudos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
