After 14 minutes of play, Jakarta Wolf SC's Wiliam Porto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Porto's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Wiliam Porto made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Wiliam Porto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Wiliam Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Porto in the 35th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakarta Wolf SC's Wiliam Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Porto in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Jakarta Wolf SC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Agam Wiriadipura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Jakarta Wolf SC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Wiliam Porto scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 0-4. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jakarta Wolf SC's Haji Lycik was substituted for Zhu Bo Fei. The supporters of Jakarta Wolf SC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haji Lycik shot from long distance in the 70th minute, but Jonathan Ferrant was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Wiliam Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiliam Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Wiliam Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ayat Sungkawa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of play forced Jakarta Wolf SC's goalkeeper Ayat Sungkawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
