Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barbudos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gareth Bala in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Ferrer in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Delmiro Ferrer sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes, Barbudos FC's Gareth Bala shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barbudos FC reached it. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes in the game Abel Carballo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Noboa. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barbudos FC:s goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Delmiro Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Ferrer ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Delmiro Ferrer notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delmiro Ferrer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gareth Bala's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gareth Balas short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delmiro Ferrer took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Barbudos FC's Virgil Van Dijk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 58th minute of the game. Delmiro Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barbudos FC made a substitution. Franco Beccari replaced Delmiro Ferrer. Barbudos FC's Conrado Garci was substituted for Marcial Claris. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Franco Beccari sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the game, Franco Beccari recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Franco Beccari showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 70th minute, Franco Beccari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Franco Beccari struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbudos FC. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Franco Beccari scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-9. Franco Beccari scored 0-10 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Beccari in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Puig made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Axel Tasis immediately put the ball in play. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Omar Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Franco Beccari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-11. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Franco Beccari put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Barbudos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
