Johan Kiewit hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Bermejo Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Tauro to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 25th minute of the match. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when David Hulberto made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bermejo Club's zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Munio came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Hulberto made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. 70 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Nikola came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feliberto Tauro was slow to take the kick. During this time Bermejo Club's players had a chance to rest. Leandro Munio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leandro Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 76th minute of the match.
