The corner ended in Julian Murillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SK Monkey Business's Rusty Atkin did a great save. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauno Sappinen in the 19th minute of play. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuur Deville, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Ailar Traks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of play forced SK Monkey Business's goalkeeper Rusty Atkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rauno Sappinen scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Răzvan Strungă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, SK Monkey Business's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rusty Atkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
