Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Liberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Daniel Moron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Boulogne del Ciclón's Leopoldo Liberto got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Leopoldo Liberto made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Moron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Quetara in the 88th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
