In the 18th minute Jaime Cazalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Nisporeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Ştefan Mureșan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Iulian Cangeopol ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Udroiu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 84 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Pompiliu Nisporeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Cangeopol in the 95th minute of play.
