Willian Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Conrado Netto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Conrado Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Kojder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute of the match Nhungarinthians got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ezequiel Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nhungarinthians's Ezequiel Nascimento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Nhungarinthians's goalkeeper Edmund Kojder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 59th minute Conrado Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Edmund Kojder threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Daniel Zorita this time. 63 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmund Kojder. Nhungarinthians's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Conrado Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 71st minute. Edmund Kojder made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmund Kojder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 83 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus-Vinícius Franceschelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus-Vinícius Franceschelli in the 85th minute of play. Edmund Kojder made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
