Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heigo Mustkivi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when 武 太史慈 put in a rough tackle. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Gheorghiţă Hagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hando Laaneoks made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gheorghiţă Hagi however managed to control. Heigo Mustkivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Gheorghiţă Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Heigo Mustkivi made a huge save. Heigo Mustkivi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target.
