Doni Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doni Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ARON FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Nóbrega came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Doni Nóbrega. ARON FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Doni Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Donatello tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Doni Nóbrega. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the ARON FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Nóbrega. The ARON FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. Doni Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced ARON FC's goalkeeper Doni Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play forced ARON FC's goalkeeper Doni Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after ARON FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 46 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Doni Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Valdo Velloso made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 57th minute of play forced ARON FC's goalkeeper Doni Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Doni Nóbrega firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doni Nóbrega having to make a save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Juan Sebastián Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doni Nóbrega quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doni Nóbrega having to make a save. After 77 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Sousa. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Doni Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Sebastián Puig got free with Doni Nóbrega in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doni Nóbrega. The goal made the score 0-7. Doni Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 96th minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ARON FC throughout the match.
