Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Virgil Van Dijk made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 13th minute of play. Delmiro Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Ferrer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute Delmiro Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Van Dijk's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Van Dijk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Virgil Van Dijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Delmiro Ferrer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Delmiro Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Ferrer ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 32nd minute of the match. Delmiro Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Delmiro Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Delmiro Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Barbudos FC's Delmiro Ferrer in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. Gareth Bala took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After the first half Barbudos FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 54 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Christian Sancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Delmiro Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbudos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Ferrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari was substituted for Delmiro Ferrer. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Beccari went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. After 70 minutes Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro managed, with a little bit of luck, save Dionisio Chorche's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The excitement rose when Barbudos FC's Dionisio Chorche after 70 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Honduras's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-8. In the 74th minute Franco Beccari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute Franco Beccari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbudos FC's Virgil Van Dijk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Sancho, made in the 80th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Franco Beccari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Franco Beccari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Franco Beccari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franco Beccari got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 99th minute, Virgil Van Dijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barbudos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
