Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mario Fernandino took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes in the game Iulian Zburliş did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lucian Luțu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Codrea during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicu Zberea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Camilo Freixa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 18th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Zberea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Julio Chicote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Manuel Lăcătuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Zburliş's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Zburliş helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Zburliş. Nicu Zberea came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camilo Freixa could save by the left post. In the 34th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicu Zberea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Lăcătuș having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Zberea was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Zberea in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute of the match, Alfredo Ferrant tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Lăcătuș saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Codrin Traianescu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Iulian Zburliş kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Lucian Luțu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Lucian Luțu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Lucian Luțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Potopea during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Republica Ploiești getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Valentin Potopea hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Bolivia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
