Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Santoryu FC's Grzegorz Grzelak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Andrea Muciaccia hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Grzelak in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ercole Carnevale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Carnevale having to make a save. In the 27th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Juan Sebastián Puig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ercole Carnevale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Santoryu FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrea Muciaccia took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Carnevale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grzegorz Grzelak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Grzelak in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Grzegorz Grzelak took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Amerigo Minicucci kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Santoryu FC's Dennis Nero was substituted for Teodoro Chale. Dennis Nero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demetrio Di Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Di Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Demetrio Di Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercole Carnevale acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Zorita. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ercole Carnevale. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. In the 81st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santoryu FC's Dennis Nero in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Santoryu FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Santoryu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale did a great save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Nero's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
