Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ashley Down Athletic's Roberto Estevon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Ashley Down Athletic from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Estevon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Estevon having to interfere. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Matthew Macken scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 17 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Roberto Estevon managed to make a qualified save. Ashley Down Athletic's players were relieved. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Roberto Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 28 minutes into the game, Matthew Macken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ashley Down Athletic's Ruben Higginson. But to his dismay, Ruben Higginson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Ashley Down Athletic's Ruben Higginson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Macken in the 41st minute of the match. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Roberto Estevon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthew Macken made a kick off. If Ed Helks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Ashley Down Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Roberto Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ruben Higginson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. Ecuador's Max Alvarado was substituted for Juan Sebastián Puig. Ruben Higginson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Matthew Macken fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ashley Down Athletic's protests and gave Matthew Macken a yellow card for diving instead. Matthew Macken kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ashley Down Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Macken didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 76th minute of play forced Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Macken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play forced Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Ashley Down Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Roberto Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Estevon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Ashley Down Athletic's Roberto Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Estevon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play forced Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Estevon having to make a save. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Estevon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ashley Down Athletic were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ecuador side.
