Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babu Bronco in the 7th minute of the match. Hugo Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Cleto Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gatti having to interfere. In the 21st minute Babu Bronco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babu Bronco in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 23rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hugo Gatti was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Facundo Cadaval capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Facundo Cadaval really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Secondo Imperiale in the 37th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Babu Bronco came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Hugo Gatti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 51st minute of play forced SPEGACHO FC's goalkeeper Hugo Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Babu Bronco sent off a good shot on target. SPEGACHO FC made a substitution. Isaac Montrel replaced Pedro Mero. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Secondo Imperiale, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. SPEGACHO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hugo Gatti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Edgard Davids hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match.
