Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Hellgren in the 33rd minute. Herbert Pluciennik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Witek Van Dijk with Thomas Katsivalis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 11ABRASIL booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Dino Zoff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. German Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Pluciennik, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Per Hellgren struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Per Hellgren came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Per Hellgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 97 minutes, Herbert Pluciennik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 11ABRASIL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Pluciennik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11ABRASIL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
